The fourth edition of Arab Fashion Week kicked off with an inaugural ceremony in an exclusive partnership with Sheikh Mohammed Maktoum Juma AlMaktoum Investment (MBM). The bi-annual event, took place from 16-20th May at the Meydan Hotel Grandstand.

Day 3

Day Three was opened by a Dubai-based British designer Zoe Eckett who presented a nature-inspired abaya and jalabiya collection using finest silk satin, French lace and velvet fabrics. 

Feminine silhouettes and sheer fabrics were presented at Malliny’s show. 

Russian designer Nadezda Yusopova for Speranza Couture wowed the audience with stunning Ready-Couture evening wear collection featuring complicated hand-embroidery, lace and crystal work. 

The night ended with a grand finale from the Italian fashion house, Renato Balestra. Inspired by the spring reawakening, Balestra’s Ready-Couture collection included soft shades of pink, pale green and aquamarine.

Day 2

Favored by many A-list international celebrities, Laquan Smith presented a quirky collection featuring his signature PVC catsuits, corseted dresses, python knits and over-the-knee boots. 

Laura Mancini’s collection paid tribute to Maria Callas and featured classic evening gowns, tailored capes and dresses in the shades of pastel pink, black and gold. 

Ilse Jara, one of the upcoming designers from Paraguay, presented a Ready-Couture collection that merges technological innovations with natural materials and traditional embroidery techniques. 

Saudi-based premium denim brand Jeans Couture's collection included signature treated denim pieces in dark red and black with floral details and statement accessories.

Day 1

The Arab Fashion Week was opened by a Canadian-born Jordanian designer Rad Hourani.

Jenanne Filat, showcased a Ready-Couture collection with some exclusive pieces dedicated to Dubai 

In a beautiful couture show, titled ‘Dui Niu Tan Q’, designer Niuniu Zhou for Mrhua Mrshua, expressed his eclectic style with stripy evening dresses and funky accessories featuring tassels and elements from graffiti art.

Lebanese designer Abdo Aoude epitomized the essence of feminine sophistication and ultimate glamour associated with the Arab woman.

The night concluded with a stunning show by the Guest of Honor at Arab Fashion Week this season, luxury womenswear label Marchesa, which recently opened its first store in Dubai.
