Paleo Menu at TRIBECA Kitchen
I was recently invited to an exclusive tasting dinner of Tribeca Kitchen's brand new Paleo Menu. Healthy is very trendy and in vogue. However i am not one that buys into all the diets and plans on offer. Some concepts wow me more than others and this sure had me sold out. Being a fan of clean eating and loving venues that focus on sourcing from local farms, i was over-the-moon to be invited to Tribeca's Paleo tasting session. This restaurant boats of a farm-to-table dining concept and has recently introduced a menu selection of creative seasonal paleo dishes prepared from scratch which explodes with fresh produce, grass-fed meat, free range eggs, fruits, roots, vegetables and nuts.
WHAT IS PALEO DIET: The Paleo food philosophy or caveman diet is clean eating as nature designed, assuring everything is Paleo endorsed; whole food of high quality and nutrient dense with a variety of fresh plant-based meals complimented by protein rich meat and herbs. This diet helps you stay lean, healthy and energetic. 'LEAN' being the key word most of us will gravitate to.
The paleo menu at Tribeca highlights a range of appetizers, entree and desserts prepared to the Paleo plan. The quality of ingredients was instantly noticed.
Signet Ring Seals : Zucchini noodles with chestnut mushrooms, kale and macadamia nuts. There is something healthy and satisfying about whirling your Zucchini noodles and slurping it unabashedly. It is a great switch to the unhealthy noodle version. The marriage of flavors here is truly divine.
From here on, I'll be more inclined to visit Tribeca and will have one less concern - being indecisive of my menu selection and worrying about what i will do after to stay fit.
